Dr. Akansha has more than 15 years of experience working in India and the UAE, her expertise lies in Haematology, Clinical Chemistry & Immunology, Microbiology, Cytopathology & Histopathology and Transfusion Medicine, to name a few. She completed her Bachelors in Medicine (MBBS) from King George Medical University, Lucknow, India in the year 2003. She further attained her Master’s (MD) in Pathology from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra, India in 2007. Dr. Akansha also holds a Diplomate of Royal College of Pathologists (Histopathology), United Kingdom.
In her capacity as Lab director in previous organisations, she has led lab teams during ISO 15189- 2012 EIAC accreditation, JCI accreditation and Accreditation Canada. She also holds hands-on experience in terms of formulating policies, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures for lab and implementing stringent quality control, safety and infection control practices, equipment and reagent management and administrative oversight and development of the department.
