“One of the best aspects of health care reform is it starts to emphasize prevention.”

— Anne Wojcicki

The power of prevention

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Internists care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in teaching and research.

Thus, the aim of our Internist is not only to diagnose and treat chronic conditions like asthma hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes, but to prevent them.

Our Internal Medicine department offers diagnostics and treatment of diseases associated with internal medicine care. We have excellent in-house laboratory and X-ray facilities, offering skin prick testing for allergies, drug and food challenge tests, ECG and stress testing and pulmonary function tests.
