Dr. Azra Kasalo is an Internal Medicine Specialist with over 10 years of experience. She is a German-Board Certified Specialist and a qualified Hypertensiologist by the German Hypertension League.
Before joining DLH, Dr. Azra practiced in Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt/Main. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical Faculty University Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2011. Following her graduation, she pursued her Internal Medicine Residency Training in Germany, beginning in 2014. She specialized at Krankenhaus Sachsenhausen, an academic teaching hospital of Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, completing her training in 2020.
Throughout her residency and as a specialist, Dr. Azra developed significant expertise in managing cardiovascular and metabolic/endocrine disorders, areas that continue to be her primary focus. She is deeply committed to patient-centred care and evidence-based medicine.
