Dr. Azra Kasalo is an Internal Medicine Specialist with over 10 years of experience. She is a German-Board Certified Specialist and qualified Hypertensiologist by the German Hypertension League.
Prior to joining DLH she worked in Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt/Main. Dr. Azra obtained her medical degree at Medical Faculty University Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2011. After graduation she completed the Canadian Queen’s University Family Medicine Development Program in Bosnia and has been a Primary Care Physician assigned as Head of Family Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Azra started her Internal Medicine Residency Training in Germany in 2014. She specialised in Krankenhaus Sachenhausen, an academic teaching hospital of Goethe University, in Frankfurt/Main in 2020. During her Training and as Specialist, she gained additional expertise in management of cardiovascular and metabolic/endocrine disorders which remained her area of interest. She strongly believes in patient-centred medical care and evidence based medicine.
