Dr. Homayoon is a Specialist Gastroenterologist with more than 11 years of experience in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and colonoscopy, and more than 16 years of experience in the field of internal medicine. She has graduated from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences which is one of the best universities in Iran, and has one of the most equipped and advanced transplant centres in the world (Abu-Ali Sina Hospital). Dr. Homayoon has vast experience in treating patients with all types of gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders such as oesophageal motility disorders, all types of hepatitis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, constipation, H pylori infection, irritable bowel syndrome, fatty liver, cirrhosis, gastroesophageal reflux disorders, occult blood in stool, melena, fresh rectal bleeding, celiac disease, acute and chronic diarrhoea, food intolerance, flatulence, liver cysts, liver abscess, pancreatitis, and abdominal pain.
