Dr. Shilpa Mhatre is a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 18 years of experience in her field. She received her Medical Degree (MBBS) from University of Mumbai, India and obtained her Postgraduate Degree (MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002 from the prestigious L.T.M. College & Sion Hospital Mumbai, India. She later received her Diploma in Gynaecological Endoscopy and Hysteroscopy from Bombay Endoscopy Academy & Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery (BEAMS), Mumbai.
Dr. Shilpa started her career as a Lecturer in Grants Govt. Medical College & Sir J.J Group of Hospitals Mumbai, India where she mastered her clinical experience by managing a variety of complicated clinical cases. Apart from enriching her clinical experience she gained excellent experience in teaching and education through her role as a Lecturer for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Later she worked as a Consulting Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with private hospitals in Mumbai.
She moved to Middle East in 2007 and has since worked with institutions across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
