Dr. Vishal is a Specialist Ophthalmologist with over 11 years of experience in his field. He graduated in 2001 at the B. Y. L. Nair Ch. Hospital, Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India. After that, he gained his Doctoral Degree in Ophthalmology at the Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai in 2007. At the same institution, in 2007, he undertook a Fellowship in Cataract Microsurgery (Phacoemulsification and Small Incision Cataract Surgery). A year later, he undertook the Fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at the L. V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad (2008-2009).
During his career, he worked as a Specialist in Ophthalmology and Consultant Ophthalmologist in various private practices and medical institutions, such as Shroff Eye Hospital in Mumbai, Sekgoma Memorial Hospital in Serowe, Botswana, Africa, Mediclinic Welcare hospital and Al-Sufouh at Dubai, UAE.
He is trained and experienced in all fields of Ophthalmology, such as Glaucoma, Cataracts, Oculoplasty, Cornea, Retina, Uveitis, Neurophthalmology, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Ophthalmologic Surgery.
